What is individuality? What is liberty? Is there any place of individuality in the structured societal rules of responsibilities and roles we tend to play day by day? Does individuality mean liberty …? and does it have an impact on creativity| Individuality is the self-expression of ego, it is the creative spring of life that is constantly being reborn in the event of nurturing the freedom of choices and cherishing the SELF frequently … and regularly |

Individuality equals liberty on the grounds that it allows flowering the seeds of humanity to see the light of potential … It is the fundament that acts as the platform for individuals and organizations to develop the essence of innovation in thoughts / actions / ideas / strategies.

Individuality oftentimes is being associated with the complete opposite of “tyranny of the majority” and a protest against conformity. Liberty of thoughts creates opportunities to see results by fulfilling potential which can only be achieved by the clarity of the mind and openness to diversity of thoughts and viewpoints.

Having the power of expression that can be seen in day to day acts can oftentimes be mistaken and taken the wrong way as “self-obsession” in the personal development … sometimes even perceived as overindulgent in own growth … STOP here! The bravery of an individual in choices and decisions makes the person more valuable to enlarging the quality of his/her own life but also seeing more value to society in direct proportion to the flowering of their own individuality. Mill (1806) sees people as various kinds of plants that need diverse approaches to address their needs for the benefit of nurturing “genius, mental vigour and moral courage” { growth }.

This privilege of individuality shall be well cared for … as not every person is honoured with this virtue from the moment of birth. Looking through the prism of Europe’s growth as the direct result of accepting the individuality seen in this cultural approach towards acceptance of individuality and its’ direct influence on the growth and success in European countries as well as the contrasting outlook of Chinese or Japanese individuals who actually are taught to conform from very early stages of their upbringing… there are some bold differences between the perception of individuality.

Whichever approach is closer to our own thoughts and behaviours the one constant and stable force is that there is no place for restricting individuality nor forcing one another into something against his/her will…

Having the power of expression, the sense of liberty that comes with individuality the key areas of focus for long term happiness are

freedom of consciousness

freedom of thought and feeling

freedom of expression

freedom of partnerships and collaborations

The light of living in its fully conscious switched on mode when we are open to absorb the world creates the continuum of possibilities that stimulate the mind to avoid routine and repetitive acts, allowing authenticity to express itself through individual’s creativity |
